Lemon Law Auto Expert Asks “Is Onstar Your Friend?”

Randy Sottile, California Lemon Law Auto Experts’ research and opinions on GM’s OnStar system is that of a ‘double-edged sword’.

One side of the blade is the benefits (Corporate Profits and Information Control) that GM is receiving from the consumer. The other side of the “blade” are the costs the consumer/end user through (via payment of monthly or yearly subscription services) utilizing the service, and resultant personal and vehicle information/data they are giving to OnStar, a prime concern for loss of privacy.

OnStar is sold and licensed from GM to various car manufacturers. Each carries its own name. Names include LexusLink, Tele-Aid, and more. It is a subscription-based service, with many new cars coming with the first 3 months (or a year) free of monthly subscription charges.

Let’s first talk about the benefits of OnStar, then balance it by talking about its electronic “dark side”. On the benefits side, it uses CDMA voice and data communication, and GPS technology for vehicle location tracking. It provides HFC (Hands Free Calling), EMS (Emergency Medical Services connect) Automatic Crash Response allows emergency advisors to provide emergency medical services (EMS) with additional crash information such as rollover status, direction of impact, which airbags have deployed (front, side etc.,) and the Delta-V (change in velocity) Force which is a medical measure of the intensity of an impact. All this information allows EMS to respond to the crash with appropriate equipment. There is also on-board vehicle diagnostics, direct-to-OnStar representative communications, voice recognition communication, remote car unlock, and more recently a connection to police for car location tracking (services and features may vary among car models/years/subscription options). This is a partial list of what OnStar can do.

Now, to what I characterize as the “dark side” of OnStar. Frankly, OnStar epitomizes the concept of “Big Brother Watching”. It’s what they can do with the information that can be potentially damaging to consumers in many ways – privacy, marketing information, crash/insurance information, hi-jacking lemon law claims and more. Let’s look at a brief list of what can be done with OnStars’ capabilities. First, under state lemon laws, “repair attempts” are defined as when the customer presents the vehicle with the issue to the authorized dealer for warranty repairs, and it’s written up on a “Repair Order”. On-Star benefits the manufacturer and derails the consumer from getting their right to a documented repair. OnStar diagnostics can actually reset (shut off) a dash warning light that would otherwise be a “repair attempt” visit to the dealers’ shop – which would be used towards a lemon law claim. OnStar “conveniently” diagnoses the cars ‘issue’, and extinguishes it, removing the car owner’s right to a documented repair at the dealership. Next is a vehicle owners right to privacy. Privacy? – The OnStar’s GPS knows exactly where you are at all times. Don’t believe it? Recently, it has been rumored that OnStar has changed its terms and conditions to allow sale of vehicle location and speeds to interested third parties such as law enforcement agencies. Who’s and what’s next? Will driving habits, restaurants visited, and other “places of interest” from the OnStar’s data base of destinations and OnStar “call-in’s” be sold to third-party marketers and advertising agencies? Will the crash data be used by the automobile manufacturer against the consumer in product liability/personal injury/wrongful death crash cases, buttressing their legal defense against plaintiff’s claims? It is a fact that we only know of OnStar’s capabilities of what the auto manufacturer, lets us know. It is theoretically possible for OnStar to be remotely activated by malicious third parties or under government order. This would enable third parties to track the location of the car. This is constantly being challenged, but the real question remains “just how far can it go?” in taking private information, and how it’s used? We just don’t know. In 2011 OnStar announced that it would start retaining all the information collected by the GPS and internal system, so that it could be sold to third parties. Although this data is supposed to be “anonoymized”, it remains unclear exactly what they mean by this, as it is extremely difficult to anonoymize GPS data. I am following this to see if the data has been opened up to third parties already, or is scheduled to – and when.

So, how should consumers view OnStar? Only the consumer can make that determination and choice. For myself, I have “Google Maps” on my phone with driving directions for free (instead of OnStar routing), I can call Roadside Assistance or a tow-truck with my cell phone if I break down. Now, if I get in a crash without OnStar I would not have the benefit of EMS, but then does it usually take more than 2 minutes for other motorists to call 911 when they see an accident? Are we endearing ourselves to the idea that WE will be the tiny percentage of consumers that crash our cars in a remote area without other motorists viewing it?

I for one am very, very concerned with what can potentially be done with the information OnStar collects and stores. What’s next? If you are late on car payments, will OnStar give the location coordinates to the repossession company for the financial institution that holds title on your current loan?

These make interesting thoughts to ponder. Should you be concerned? This writer thinks so….

I have been in PR, marketing for 20 years and been teaching my clients how to celebritize themselves using social media. We can learn a lot from Charlie Sheen in the way of marketing, the new media and how to use it. There are several rules I have been teaching for years; Charlie Sheen is the best example to illustrate those points. This is marketing at its best.

The first most important rule in social media is respond to the conversation especially when someone disagrees with you. Case in point. I am marketing for a very famous artist, photographer/videographer Norman Seeff. Norman has just produced a movie backed by NASA called “The Triumph of a Dream!” This film is going to go world wide very shortly. To be linked with this film and of course NASA would be a marketers dream. So I linked one of my other clients that work with World Financial Group (WFG), as a sponsor for the film. When we goggled WFG, numerous links were encountered calling WFG a SCAM, FRAUD, etc. Upon seeing this Norman Seeff and his team, refused WFG as a sponsor. Not because they were a fraud or not, that was an unknown, it was because WFG didn’t defend itself. WFG did not counter the claims or even speak to the claims. In the case of Charlie Sheen, when the first comments came out about Charlie’s lifestyle from Loree, Sheen responded quickly and decisively with a response. Chuck Lorre then came out with a response to Sheen’s and then so on and so forth for the last few weeks. This argument went viral and now he has sold out one-man shows in New York.

Rule #1-- Answer your complaints faster than your compliments-most of all answer!

The second rule and probably the most important rule-People live vicariously through you. Everybody thinks that everybody’s life is more interesting than his or her own. Case in point, Charlie Sheen has given us a glimpse into his life the nice house, the two “Goddesses” the cars etc. Charlie Sheen has been fired from his job, is in a custody dispute, and is suing his employer. However, he turned this online argument into 2+million followers on twitter and companies are lined up to use him to represent their products. Now you that have products and services tell your followers or potential followers about the encounters you have, people want to read and know about you. They identify with the fantasy they see as you. I have a client Bonnie-Jill Laflin, she is the only female scout or the NBA, working with the Lakers. She gets to play hoops with the Lakers and Kobie several times a week. She takes this for granted, but most people I know would kill for the opportunity to play basketball with the Lakers.

Rule #2 -Nothing in your life is insignificant people want to know as they idealize everybody other than themselves.

The third rule, don’t stop, once you start this do not stop! Charlie Sheen has staged wonderful examples of this rule. Charlie and one of his goddesses were planning a siege of CBS to get his motor home back. They were dressed in commando type uniforms with a map of all his video. They go to the studio, walk in and drive out no confrontation. Genius, everyone watches because will there be drama, fights no. That’s not the point they engaged everyone in the “OP” and people watched. Charlie has been on a number of media outlets continuously since this started and was only bumped by a Tsunami. But I guarantee after this levels out (bad pun) well be back watching Charlie’s life. Chuck Lorre CBS, everyone has stopped speaking about Charlie, except Charlie. We were taught as children when this type of argument started to “let it go” “turn the other cheek”, “it will blow over” and my favorite "don't stoop to their level". NO this is wrong, answer back, the one that is the longest winded WINS. Look what happed to WFG, they turned the other check, and lost an opportunity to take their business vertical with NASA. They lost an opportunity of a lifetime to market their business because they thought it would go away. REMEMBER what happens in Vegas, may stay in Vegas. But it stays on the Internet forever!!!

Rule #3: Keep the conversation going, only if it goes one way. People are watching and listening, even when they’re quiet.

I don’t know if Charlie Sheen, knows these concepts or has someone advising him. Regardless, what has transpired over the last few weeks is absolute GENIUS!

In conclusion there has been a lot said about Charlie’s “Duh Winning” comment. Charlie Sheen has made approximately 7 million dollars from sold out shows he is going to perform, product placement and from sponsors. Update: There is speculation that Charlie will get his old job back at CBS. He did all this following the rules I have taught for years. So I ask you who is winning, and laughing all the way to the bank.

In August of 1990, Allen S. Miller, of HitmanPR led a team of physicians to the World Games in Chiro Egypt and ultimately worked for the Iraq Soccer team and Uday Hussein. Egypt wanted to be considered a contender on the world stage for an Olympic bid and spared no expense at updating their sports facilities. I was accredited with Sierra Leone Olympic Track & Field Team and had been since our introduction at the All African Games in 1988 held Lagos, Nigeria. These were tense times; President Herbert Walker Bush and Saddam Hussein were locked in a moral debate over Saddam’s taking of Kuwait. The night before I was to depart, I got a phone call from the “state department” to be more accurate my stepbrothers’ father in the CIA, not to go.

Once on the ground we quickly organized the team and went to the accreditation center for our credentials. Once I checked in and received my credentials I needed to get the rest of the team accredited for the games. This became a problem, and for some unknown reason, everything was denied, until I met with the head of security. I was immediately escorted to the security center and was graciously asked if I wanted tea, while I waited for the General. I had brought pins from the US, FBI and State Agencies as presents. I had known the General since Lagos and had seen him on my several trips to Africa. I gave him an FBI pin as a gift, at which point he broke out the Scotch, and we talked for hours. Subsequently, the General facilitated the doctor’s credentials for entry. After checking in with my team, we entered the stadium area and setup on the practice field. This may seem strange that we didn’t got the medical center, however, this is where everybody setups up their equipment. There is an old rule in sports, you go where the athletes are, and they are usually at the practice field. Sports medicine is a cooperative, a family; we all know each other and help each other. It always amused me that journalists would write that there were political rivalries inside the center. To the contrary, we all worked, with each other, shared each other’s equipment and supplies. Now Africa is an amazing place, everyone is a variety of colors from black to white and everything in between. The badges did not have nationality on them, the badges only indicated the team you were credentialed with, I was credentialed with Sierra Leone, it was just accepted that I was from Sierra Leone.

As we were setting up and operational on the practice grounds the athletes started to arrive for a variety of services. I was approached by the team manager for the Iraq Soccer team. Their manager was a very charismatic and engaging gentleman. We talked for a long time, as he was very interested in our services. My team of doctors evaluated and treated the team as they would all the other teams at the games. The rhetoric between the USA and Iraq was escalating, during the time we were there.

There was a fear that violence would breakout as the games organizers decided to issue evacuation plans and the location shelters. To the dismay of the team, the organizers went so far as to overlap targets on the parts of the city that we were housed. We were watching the coverage of the Kuwait conflict on a fledgling news channel called CNN. As the games were wrapping up, the manager of the Iraq Soccer team invited some of us to dinner at his hotel (Hilton on the Nile) with his father. I picked the members of the team that had the most impact with the soccer team and off we went to dinner at the Hilton. We met up with the team manager, outside the Hilton, as directed. He apologized greatly that dinner had to be “postponed” as his father had to go back home as “Bush invaded Iraq”. I very naively asked “who is your father”, The team manager replied “my father is Saddam Hussein”. Now in amazement he said then you are? He replied Uday Hussein, he kings son. Uday Hussein apologized greatly for the embarrassment and asked if I would come to Iraq “following this unpleasantness” and work with his team and physicians. I had to laugh and stated “well I am honored and would be glad to come, but I think my government would disapprove”. Uday, asked “why would Sierra Leone disapprove”? I then stated that I was an American, we both just started laughing. Uday, then stated that “he would insure my safety” and to contact him once this conflict was over”. He then handed me a keychain with his likeness and the likeness of his father on them. He thanked me greatly for the service and kindness provided both him and his team. We parted and I was never to see him again. My dinner with Saddam Uday Hussein got cancelled by President Bush’s’ bombing of Kuwait.

So the moral of the story and one I have lived all my life; be nice you never know who you are talking too.

My (Allen S Miller of HitmanPR) dream and goal was to treat Olympic and pro class athletes. I started out and paid my dues like everybody else volunteering at High Schools and graduating into college meets. I joined every professional group that dealt with athletes, and injuries. My first invitation was to the Ironman in Hawaii as an injury triage doctor and Chiropractor. Once I survived that competition, I was invited to travel the Track and Field Circuit beginning in Lagos, Nigeria with the All African Games ultimately moving through Europe. Then the invitation came, my appointment to US Track and Field Team in Barcelona during the world Games. There I met my mentor Dr. Jack Russell, head of Sports Injuries US Track & Field Team. We became close friends and we traveled the world together following the teams treating athletes. I was recruited by the nations of Nigeria, Ethiopia and Sierra Leone to act as their medical director at the 1992 summer games of the Olympiad held in Barcelona Spain. When I arrived, I met up with Dr. Russell prior to entering the accreditation center at the Olympic Center. I was advised that we were unable to enter the center as South Africa was arriving and they were to enter first to fanfare of the media as apartheid had been abolished. This is their return to the competition after years of absence. I was anxious to enter the games as it was the culmination of a dream. However I was scared to death and secretly said the universal prayer “please god, don’t let me screw up”. Dr. Jack Russell, Carl Lewis and I all entered the gates and proceeded to the Olympic Center to take our Olympic Oath. As we did, I became more terrified and nervous at the sheer weight of where I was and where I had come from. As the oath ended, Jack Russell must have seen the look of sheer terror on my face and the lack of color. Jack looked over at me and spelled out the initials that I will remember for all time, J A F T M. Looking puzzled I asked “what in the hell does that mean?” Jack replied, “it’s Just Another F___-g Track Meet, now let’s go to work” there was a momentary silence, and we just started laughing. I was ok, the nervousness was gone the fear gone. So when I get nervous before an event, a talk, anything, I remember the initials JAFTM and just smile.

In my early years when I started out, I was bodyguard to Dinah Shore, who was good friends with Farrah, and her then husband Lee Majors. I got the chance to meet Farrah at a dinner and showing of Lee Major’s Movie- Francis Gary Powers. They had come to Dinah’s house and Pauline the housekeeper as usual made an amazing dinner. I had the opportunity to be around Dinah and Pauline who were to say the least amazing spirits. They loved Farrah, and thought she was the sweetest of people. Pauline loved Farrah, they both loved to cook, and ironically Pauline was Farrah's mothers name. I got close to Pauline because I say her 6 days a week for several years along with Dinah. Farrah and Lee arrived that night for dinner in a new Porsche Turbo Carrera. I let them, in and they were very nice. Lee had almost run out of gas getting to the house for dinner, and let’s say Farrah was asking Lee why he didn't get gas. Now this hit home as my girlfriend always asks why I hate to get gas, I guess its a guy thing. anyway. Lee comes out of the house and asked if one of the security people could drive his car and get gas. Dinah ok’d it and we had other guys on the property, so sometimes the boss gets the perks, I jumped at the chance to drive the new Turbo Porsche Carrera. I raced that car and got it up to 90 going down Beverly to Rodeo. I got back to house and gave the car back wishing that I could have one, this was 1978. Farrah was really sweet, I was just the bodyguard, and she treated me as she did everyone like we all were something very special. Later on, Farrah was kind enough to sign an outtake copy of the photograph of her and the cougar for me. I still have that picture. When she decided to divorce Lee Majors, I was asked to be the scout with the security team watching the Mulholland house. I did the initial investigation on Majors that later Farrah used as leverage I was a bodyguard for years, actors, music people the whole gambit, but Farrah, was genuinely nice, treated us like she had known us for years. She went out of her way to make us feel comfortable. When Greg Lott contacted me and asked me for help, and showing me the letters, we’ll you can go from there.

Harry Dent famed Economist said recently to “invest your money in yourself”, “Market yourself before the next crash”. This is the most brilliant statement of all. How do you sell yourself, your business, services or products if your customers don’t know who you are? The new media has been named web 2.0 or affectionately disruptive media. Disruptive Media is the use of social media to surround your competitor and convert their customers to your business. Why make new clients when your customer has the same client you want, so lure them away form them to you. We know there are businesses out there that have customers in your area. For example I was just speaking with a gas company. We know the customer is crossing the street to go to Chevron over Shell or vise versa. The prices are similar, both have stores so you can buy your favorite beverage, what would make them leave their brand and come to our brand. Easy, make it the best Brand (remember perception).

A brand that people cannot live without, a brand that everyone is using, essentially the “cool” brand., the brand that will make them cool if they use it or more importantly people see you using it. We saw this in high school where the “cool” kids sat at a certain table in the cafeteria. There are too many examples of this status structure, but I think all of you can conger up an example that you have personally experienced. If you take nothing away from this blog take this “people live vicariously through you” (thanks Joel Bauer for quoting me). This means that people envy what you got regardless of what they got (excuse the grammar). To sit at the table was cool regardless whether you liked the people or not—others saw you, and now envy comes into play.

So back to disruptive media, fact unless you have the only widget in the world and you are the only one selling it, you have a service, product or business people frequent. Fact people are frequenting your business either at your location or your competitor’s. Fact they are spending money on that business either at your location or your customers. Question: how do we get them from spending money here than over there? Answer: Disruptive Media-- through marketing, we make it imperative that they come to your business because if they don’t they will not be part of the cool crowd (essentially). Now this formula takes on many meaning and examples but still stand true. We do this service for junior executives, we do it for actresses we do it for sports professionals we do it naturally.

What is the difference between other marketing companies and mine? Actually very little, looking from the outside in. We know the same people, we dress the same, and we almost talk the same. The difference how we got to where we are; for example, I was a bodyguard starting at the age of 17 for some of our greatest stars, Dinah Shore, Farrah Fawcett, Jerry Garcia many. What is it about me that “attracted” that level of trust at a young age? I left that life and became a Chiropractor; I was an accredited physician at 2 Olympic games and have worked on some of the best athletes in the world. Now the question, how do you get people to leave the other business for yours? The answer is get your name out there and make sure you are the cool kid everyone wants to be near. Us the social media, hire the media strategist, the publicist that will help you be that guy/gal everyone wants to be around. People want to be near the people that have the answer or appear they have an answer.

Can it be done? YES its done everyday, the eye glass store, the actress, the clothing store, everywhere in some way shape or form they implement this strategy. Do you really think that Lindsey Lohan just fell across a little boutique she liked and the paparazzi were there? No we (media strategists) staged it, now everyone goes to the boutique. Is it expensive maybe depending on your point of view? But how long do you want to wait for success to happen. How much does it cost to sit back, trudge along, working and working to make success a reality? How long do you want to watch your customer go to your competitor? When with less money in comparison, you can implement a strategy that will give you success overnight? This overnight success can be sustained for years getting your initial investment back as well as additional business that will grow logarithmically. Kelly Ripa #94 in Maxim Hot 100 posing in Icon Farrah Fawcett Fashion?

Kelly Rip of daytime TV Regis and Kelly fame was listed as #94 in the maxim hot 100 list of most beautiful women. Ms. Ripa decided for some unknown reason to strike the same pose that made Farrah Fawcett famous, blanket and all. Kelly, was wearing a purple bathing suit instead of the orange, (not red) one Farrah sported in a now iconic photo. Now what is most disturbing is that Kelly decided to strike the exact same pose as Farrah. I find this very insulting in many different ways and several conclusions come to mind, Kelly has a glorified view of her physique, she is believing her own press or Regis has finally driven her crazy. One thing is sure and to quote Llovd Benson, I knew Farrah Fawcett and you, Ms. Ripa are no Farrah Fawcett! I understand you are considered by most to be beautiful, however you do not have the “assets” Farrah Fawcett had, especially those that should have filled out the bathing suit. I think there are some things that just should not be copied, this being one of them. We could never, remake Katherine Hepburn’s pose, Lauren Bacall saying “just whistle”, and so many more that have become simply, iconic.

There will never be another Farrah; there are beautiful women that are illustrated so well in Maxim Magazine. The women in this magazine have shown their own personalities, strength, confidence and most of all their beauty. They are not trying to be someone else or compare themselves to someone else. They are not trying to use someone else to gain approval or credibility. The other 99 women are all beautiful, and most of all they appear by their photo to be very independent, which in my opinion makes them more beautiful. The only thing that this photo accomplished is it reminds us that there are no substitutes for the original.

Professional speaking, it was the responsibility of the publicist or the photographer to persuade Ms. Ripa from publishing these photos’ after they were shot. More to the point whomever devised this photo shoot with this set in mind should have had the common decency to throw it in the can with all the other “what were you thinking” ideas.

These photos are in very bad taste and in my opinion very disrespectful, not say pretty sad in comparison.

Kevin Smith, Southwest Airlines & Twitter A Ménage à Trois

As most of you have heard, Kevin Smith the very talented Actor, Director and Writer was “exited” from a Southwest flight because he was too “heavy”. Kevin Smith utilized twitter to shout his rage against Southwest for this transgression. What is now prime time news and now heralded by overweight people everywhere as a rallying cry to action against fat discrimination one thing was overlooked. That is when all these tweets began to fly from Kevin Smiths phone, Southwest Airlines answered. Yes Southwest Airlines, rather than sit ideally by letting these allegations stand, responded and said they would look into the issue and make it right.

Southwest the top of the airline food chain, has keep their place by taking a proactive modern approach to communication by answering back. Whether Southwest knew Kevin Smith’s media reach or not is immaterial, they answered. I have been teaching this strategy for a while now, answer the complaint whatever it is. Do not go gently in to this good night, answer with your opinion with fact. Stand up, and fight against the machine. Both parties in this fight have a point and used the new media to get their point across. Both have explained their position and now have allies on either side of the issue, talking, tweeting and blogging their position. This issue has brought to light not only the issue of obesity, but, most of all, this is great advertising for both Southwest Airlines and Kevin Smith. Someone once said, “there is no such thing as bad advertising as long as they are talking about me”. People that had no idea who this talented artist was are sure to know him now and may look at his work. Southwest airlines, has taken a stand and regardless of the outcome of this advertising has succeeded in keeping their name in the news for days without paying a dime in advertising. Tiger Woods had a squeaky clean image. He is tremendously talented and tremendously rich. He is married to a beautiful woman and has a great family. What would make him sabotage all that for one or more extramarital affairs? Some people say that it is just human nature to cheat; isn’t variety the spice of life? As a marriage and sex therapist practicing for quite a long time, I could tell you that I do believe that variety is the spice of life and that it probably is a natural human instinct to want to have sexual relationships with people other than one’s spouse. When you have a celebrity such as Tiger Woods, who is probably a constant object of desire for beautiful women, how could he resist this temptation? And look at the statistics; the latest one I read was that 60 % of men and 40% of women have some kind of extramarital affair in their lifetime. (Probably a rough estimate) So-back to the question that is the title of this blog- Is monogamy too much to ask for in a marriage?

NO!!! It is not too much to ask for in a marriage. However, there is a catch!

As I write about in my book, "The Long, Hot Marriage" we need to evolve beyond our ancestors (parents. grandparents, etc.) and learn the principles of creative monogamy. Creative monogamy involves:

1) Creating a strong emotional connection with our mate.

2) Being honest about our inevitable and natural ambivalence about being totally faithful.
The ideal is to treat our partner as our confidante even about matters that may push his or her insecurity buttons such as attraction to other members of the opposite sex.

3) Continually taking risks in and out of the bedroom with our partner and making sure that we don't slip into "deadening" roles and stuck patterns.

Creating a strong emotional connection involves taking the time to slow down and communicate with your partner. You need to develop the emotional muscle necessary to listen without being defensive as well as learn to express your feelings, thoughts and desires in a non-accusatory style that encourages your partner to listen. This takes practice and since we have had little or no role models for this skill, it is sometimes helpful to get a relationship therapist or coach to assist. An attitude of interest and curiosity towards your partner has to be cultivated.
Most if not all married people have ambivalence about being faithful. There is that part of us that wants to be loyal and make the marriage work. But it is totally natural to be attracted to members of the opposite sex . It is ridiculous to think that we could make ourselves not feel these feelings just like it would be just as ridiculous to not feel hungry after a full night’s sleep. Most partners try to hide these parts of themselves for fear of angering or hurting the spouse. This “hiding” actually increases the chance of infidelity since it starts to disrupt the emotional connection between the couple. When these more challenging conversations take place, it paves the way for increased acceptance of ALL of who you and your partner are.
If you are honest with yourself, any area of life that has been successful for you has been at least in part due to you risking in some way. Your marital life is no different. If you stay too long in your comfort zone, your relationship dries up. Dare to be different. Share another side of yourself. Try something new in the bedroom. Be playful and adventurous. Be willing to look silly. Don’t play it too safe. Be willing to get rejected by your spouse. Don’t protect yourself too much. Open your heart.
Marriage is not for the feint of heart. The couple needs to develop the emotional muscle to create a strong emotional bond. They need to courageously share all of who they are, not just the wonderful, loyal side but the sides that may evoke insecurity. Lastly, it takes courage to consistently risk in and out of the bedroom. Doing the three steps I outlined, makes marriage and faithfulness an exciting adventure. Of course, there are no guarantees when it comes to interpersonal relationships. However, if you build the kind of relationship that you could by doing what I am writing about, it will be far easier to say “No!” to an exciting impulse that could lead to infidelity. The kind of relationship you would be building as well as how you would feel about yourself and your mate, just wouldn’t be worth the risk.

Alana Contacts Farrah Through James Von Praagh

Alana Stewart has used James Van Praagh to contact Farrah Fawcett. In this segment, James Alana Stewart and medium James Van Praagh talk to ET about their other worldly experience in trying to reach Alana's best friend, Farrah Fawcett.

James states to Alana, "Farrah is right behind me, really really strong, and saying, 'Come on let's go," says James during their psychic session, and Alana replies, "That is so her, that is so her! That is so strange. Whenever she was impatient, she would sit like that and put her hand to her face and go, 'Come on, let's go.'"

"She said, 'Thank you for wearing my bracelet,'" says James, and Alana replies, "I'm wearing it right now! … She gave this to me for my birthday two years ago. … Oh my God!"

Now here is the interesting part, I reported in June that Alana was selling jewelery and other items through a 3rd party on ebay that Farrah had given her. Wasn't that bracelet the one Alana sold? If it is, then James is wrong, or Farrah can't see the bracelet she is wearing. If this is truly the case, maybe James can ask Farrah who took her journal and could they give it back to Red, the rightful owner.

Sorry, everyone that I have been quiet for awhile alot has happened and I will be commenting on it in these upcoming posts. As a lot of you know, if you have been watching my face book page, Drasmiller, or my fan site Hitman Public Relations, I was at Blog World LV 2009 for some clients and interviews etc. I ran into an amazing person by the name of Meaghan Edelstein, she is the founder of Spirit Jump. She is a cancer survivor and has organized this group to send cards etc to people that have cancer. I know the impact your cards and letters meant to Farrah. Receiving support from people is uplifting, inspiring and gives the person strength in these hard times. This amazing woman is organizing everyone to send out inspiration to others by the way of a card or letter, or anything you desire. Greg Lott - Farrah's Secret Romance

I have been fairly quiet on this issue, for many reasons. One of which is: Why help this self aggrandizing individual proselytize himself further on the death of Farrah? Now here is what has happened. I was contacted by Dylan Howard, Editor of Crocmedia, the company that owns OK magazine, for an interview. Mr. Howard had flow out to Greg’s “home” (3707 24th Street Lubbock, TX 79410) in Lubbock, TX for 3 days to Greg Lott. Mr. Howard, states that after the interview he thought, Greg was credible despite the several claims of fraud, mail fraud, and all the other numerous complaints fans have voiced. My blog has been described as revengeful, spiteful, and of course my favorite nasty by some of the best in the business. This may be, the reality of the situation, and the events surrounding Farrah’s death, were disgusting at best. The actions of the people that were closest to her have used her death to profit. These pathetic people that couldn’t earn a living on their own, whom had never accomplished one thing other meeting Farrah Fawcett, are shouting from the roof tops that they knew her and slept with her. Lott who’s only claim to fame is that he knew Farrah Fawcett; this is a man whose only real accomplishment is that he was too stupid to get away with a crime and went to jail. He played football in 1966, got hurt and never played after that. A success is one who overcomes diversity and accomplishes something. Greg has waited for years to see what he was going to receive from Farrah’s estate. This is the reality of the situation, sadly it controversy sells it sells magazines, and it sells papers. My statements are the truth, as told to me by Greg Lott, and backed up by all the information I gathered from him as well as others. I saw up close the character of this individual, and I reported it to you. Did he fool me at first, yes he did, but as soon as I figured out what his motives were I alerted the fans the best way I knew how. I understand Mr. Howard, he wants to sell papers, that’s just business. Now everyone has acknowledged Greg knew Farrah. To my knowledge, she didn’t leave anything in the will, and to my knowledge he never sent any money to Farrah’s charities or to her father. Greg was just a puppy that she took out played with for awhile and then put down. Greg so wants to be so much more, in the end for reasons I will never understand she chose Ryan O’Neal to accompany her to Germany and the rest is history. Now it’s just a fight over her money and estate, it just gets more pathetic as time travels on.

Greg Lott screaming from the highest mountain to nobody that cares has made OK magazine. He has finally and sadly got his 15 minutes of fame profiting from the death of Farrah Fawcett http://www.okmagazine.com/2009/09/farrah-fawcetts-secret-love/. In the article he states that he tried to see Farrah and he was denied access by Ryan O'Neal. Greg explains that Ryan had read the love letters and his description of Ryan as a F-- F--- . This is simply not true, Greg had attempted to see Farrah as he heard she was deathly ill and was close to death. Greg's plan was to have FF sign her rights to her likeness and website over to his corporation for $10.00. Greg unable to get past the front desk, slipped into the building and slipped a note under Farrah's back door. Greg states that this note plead Farrah to see him so he could have the website and its profits. Farrah and Ryan found the note and had security remove Greg from the building. So in an act of desperation, Greg explains that he forged her name on the contracts and sent him to his attorney. I imagine that FF had Greg removed as she was disappointed in her "lover" as he had cheated her out of money that was to go to charity. Greg's who's only claim to fame was that he played football once for Texas, and never succeeded at anything other than going to jail. Is now succeeding at once again living off Farrah. While Farrah was on her death bed Greg's only thoughts were to save his livelihood. He had not seen Farrah for years prior to her death, never sending money, in essance cheater her and charity out of money. My question, why did Farrah continue to support this guy, was it just pity.

I met Craig Nevius on the set with William Shanter years ago, when I adjusted his horses and then him in the barn. Mr. Shatner is just a great and funny manm true professional. Craig has gone to alot of trouble, I expect Ryan has threatened him or tried to intimidate him and god know what that other had has done. But read his story, give it respect, absorb, embrace and keep it in your heart. Craig is doing an amazing thing, he is to be congratulated for his strength getting the truth out. Greg Lott & Farrah Fawcett-The Untold Story

Recent questions have arisen as to why Greg had not seen Farrah in almost 3 years prior to her death. The question I am continually asked “If Greg loved Farrah so much why didn’t he see her?” The answer, "I didn't want to see her like that" Greg stated in his recent interview. Mr. Lott unable to find work, and washing cars in Lubbock, Tx found a way through Farrah to earn extra money selling her pictures and memorabilia online through the website. Greg Lott was contractually bound to send 75% of the proceeds from FarrahFawcett.us to help her charities and ailing father. As Farrah was living her last days, Greg's only mission was to have Farrah sign over her rights to the website and her likeness to him so he could profit further. Ryan O’Neal thwarted those plans by denying Greg access to Farrah when he was here from Texas. Additionally, Greg was advertising on the Farrahfawcett.us his ability to have a “personalized autographed photo of Farrah Fawcett” available for an additional fee. Greg continually sold these pictures to awaiting fans without having the ability to reach or see the dyeing Icon. Questions continually arise as to how these pictures magically contained Farrahs’ personalized wishes to her fans. Complaints of mail fraud, forgery and fraud have been lodged at Greg Lott and FarrahFawcett.us. The website and Farrah’s likeness are owned by Farrah’s estate and ultimately Redmond O’Neal. Today, the website is up and selling Farrah’s merchandise, so Greg is once again profiting from Farrah Fawcett ultimately cheating Farrah’s estate of the money it deserves. Yes Greg Fight the Fight for one more dollar from Farrah.

Alana & Ryan Profiting from Vanity Fair Article of Farrah!

First let me thank Alana for the plug of my blog on ET the other night, I love being right. Anyway, it has been brought to my attention, that product placement is alive and well in the Vanity Fair Article. Yes, Ryan and Alana capitalizing on the death of their "Best Friend" and "Love of My Life". Case in point, I refer to page 308 of the Vanity Fair piece which ran last week on Farrah. There are two pictures, one of Ryan on Farrah's bed following her death and one of Alana and Ryan on Farrah's terrace after her death. All the other pictures were from the past but in these pictures, Ryan is wearing Prada and Alana is wearing Theory. See we were right, Ryan and Alana obviously got paid for advertising these products; note the credits on the right side of the page indicating the brand names. This is no different that models wearing clothes in GQ, with the brands listed on the opposite page.

It is despicable that these two would use an article about Farrah's life and death to make another couple of bucks. Ryan in Prada on Farrah's bed and Alana in Theory, These two greedy, morally corrupt people profit every way they can from his "lover" and her "best friends" death." Who thinks this way, when I have lost friends my only thought was to help the family, and try and cope with the deep loss of losing one’s friend or loved one. This would have never have crossed my mind.

It has been my contention from the beginning that these two vultures saw an opportunity to capitalize on the death of Farrah Fawcett and have from the time Farrah’s end was near. As I originally wrote, Alana started selling Farrah’s memorabilia before she was even buried. On the day of Farrah’s death, Ryan grabbed a brief case from Farrah’s condo within hours of her death. A few days ago, one of Ryan’s flunkies was spotted driving around Malibu in Farrah’s car. Now I am told Ryan and Alana are shopping the documentary of Farrah’s’ last days. What new products or clothes will be strategically placed in the documentary? Maybe there could be a cut away during some of the saddest parts to commercial for an anti depression medication. Here’s an idea, maybe a commercial with the voice over “staying up late with a sick friend, use Brand X Energizer Drink”. The empty can be strategically stacked on the bedside table. Here’s another suggestion for Ryan, maybe a product endorsement for Jenny Craig or the manzier (the bra for men premiered in Seinfeld). What type of person plots to make a profit from someone’s death, are times that tough Ryan? Entertaining those younger women on the beach can be expensive, (especially the Viagra costs) wait there is another product endorsement idea.

In clear violation of the "cease and desist order" by Farrah Fawcett's estate. In light of all the customer complaints and accusations of fraud to the FBI and the Postal Inspectors. With customers still complaining that they have yet to receive the items they bought prior to Farrah's death. Despite all of this Greg Lott has decided in his wisdom, to put publish the FarrahFawcett.us website. Yes he's selling Farrah's pictures and memorabilia. At least he took down "proceeds go to charity" line from the website. Now just assuming here, the car washing gig, didn't make enough money to produce all the items that were backlogged to awaiting customers. My theory Greg is taking orders on new items to make money to produce the items to sell to the awaiting customers. Now this is very similar to what Bernie Maddoff did to his many clients, it's called a ponzi scheme. Named after the famous con man Charles Ponzi http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ponzi_scheme. Now I have reported before, that Greg Lott, attempted to see Farrah to sign over her rights in the website to Greg aka (Relentless Corp) for 10.00. I see the website is owned Relentless Corp. Now I know that Greg did not get FF permission to put this site up and no contracts were signed when Greg Lott was here as he was unable to see Farrah. So how did he get the permission to publish this site and in essance take money again from Farrah's Estate.

Alana Stewart - Much To Do About Nothiing

Attorney's for Alana Stewart have sent me the attached letter telling me to take the references to Alana Stewart down. Let me begin by saying, I am a big fan of Mr. Weitzman, the case he presented for entrepreneur John DeLorean was nothing short of amazing. The case had foreign governments, corruption etc all being thrown at one brilliant guy DeLorean. Rolling Stone magazine broke the story, Mr. Weitzman, stood up to the federal government as well as other concerns, and there were many, in regards to this case. It is a case that should never be forgotten for a litany of reasons.

When I received this letter, the first thing I thought was boy "book sales must be dragging". Alana's got to get some press and nothing sells better than controversy. The second thing I thought was, "I am not going to feed into this beast and I will go on my marry way". After the Greg Lott debacle, I really didn't want to see anymore of Alana, Ryan, and Greg. I thought, thank god Farrah saw through all of this human debris and got the last laugh. To this day I still can't believe what I was witness too. But when I got Alana on these talk shows twisting facts well, here we again.

First I want to thank Alana for the referencing me on ET as "that blogger". Alana knows who I am as she was providing stories about Farrah to Joan Dangerfield while Farrah was in the last days of fight against cancer. According to Lott, FF had kept a video journals for a long while prior to and after her diagnosis of Cancer. FF hired Alana to film her for the "wing and a prayer" video that Nevius was producing. Now there is still a lawsuit over the facts of this relationship, and how much she was to be paid, and the location of the video tapes that Alana retained.

What seems to be so offensive to Alana, is the statements I wrote on August 5th in my blog. I wrote "there are video out takes of Alana & Ryan together in robes, without apparent clothes underneath, in the living room of Farrah's home, while she was in the bed next door. Outside of porn, their was some very "interesting" behavior". The weekend that Jim Fawcett came into town the to see FF pior to his death, he stayed in the guest bedroom. I was told, by inside sources Ryan and Alana were upset because "they were thrown out of their bedroom". The night they were thrown out of the bedroom they Alana Stewart and Ryan O'Neal retired to his malibu beach house. When Jim Fawcett left, according to sources they moved back in to the guest bedroom.

Now what's interesting here is I never indicated their was an illicit affair. I said "outside of porn", the behavior was interesting. Meaning that their was no porn meaning sex, but their behavior is interesting, and it was. This was the same time or shortly after, Ryan was being arrainged in court for alledgedly propositioning a young woman for a sex act. Ryan was seen on the beach frollicking with other women on beach in front of his malibu beach house etc. So Alana's statement's indicating that FF and Ryan were planning to get married must be fiction. What amazes me is that my little blog, is responsible for Alana running from show to show denying that she slept with Ryan O'Neal. I think you protest you loudly.

Ryan and Alana took the publicity to its current level, not me.. Frankly I've never seen this many denials since the OJ trial, sorry couldn't hold back the joke. For you out there that don't remember Mr. Weitzman represented OJ with other law greats, during the murder trial.

Now I did report that Ms. Stewart was selling "Farrah Fawcett Memorabilia" on ebay immediately following her death. This good friend of Farrah, as she notes in her interviews sold personal items given to her by Farrah on ebay. Better yet they were sold on the day of the funeral. This of course she doesn't respond too. In my opinion, Alana, is just one more oportunist attempting to profit off of Farrah Fawcett. Alana saw an oportunity and took it, according to sources Farrah had a specific plan for her videolog and the message it was to deliver, as well as the messenger. Its difficult to believe, after all the steps Farrah took to film her struggle, she picked Alana as the messenger. There is an old saying you can put lipstick on a pig, its still a pig.

The stories, and observations I wrote on this blog have been published by more notable publications than mine, ie ET, TMZ, National Enquirer, to say a few. Mr. Weitzman Are they getting letters? If not, what's holding you back, tap that book advance and send them out. The problem with this advice, She'll run out of money, and then we would have to sit through yet another droll interview on NBC. Greg Lott In Search of The Will

There is a growing number of people that write me, after speaking with Greg Lott saying he "is in the will". Greg Lott still thinks he will be a the person to receive her image , or the title of holding her image rights, Additionally, Greg now proclaims that he was told by Farrah, that it is he that is to guide Redmond and her estate.

If he was in the will we would know. Farrah left her "estate" to her son. Farrah choose her manager Bernie Francis and his son to be executors of the estate. I think Greg has exaggerated his importance in his own mind. He is not getting Farrah' likeness, watching over her estate or Redmond for that matter. As much as he wishes this to be true it's not. Now Farrah was a very bright, astute business woman. She watched Greg run and market her website without any return. Simply put, it looks like he kept any money due her. There are other words for this like cheat, steal, embezzlement and a few more. Greg, after the website was published, he never in 3 years came out to see Farrah, until he realized she was in her last days. With that in mind he manufactures new contacts, signing over her rights to the likeness to him. Now I ask you, knowing Farrah as the intelligent woman that she was, put yourself in her shoes for a minute, would you leave any of that to Greg?

What Greg fails to understand is that she gave him the most important of things and that was her for a brief time. She gave people little things like the rosary he has around his neck. That was what was most important and valuable to her gifts from the heart. Remember in the end she was a girl from Corpus Christi TX. She was an artist, sensitive, intelligent loving mother. So the most special of gifts are from the heart. Not the trappings of wealth. He of all people should know this. Farrah gave Alana an inexpensive pair of earrings, she sold them on ebay. Anyway, ff saw these earring and thought they would be perfect for Alana, I think she bought them for Mella as well. This present came from the heart they maybe cost 100.00. But they were from the heart does the cost or financial value matter? Anyway, Farrah sent letters, notes, cards, small gifts expressions of love. This is what was important to Farrah. She gave Greg little things, again expression's of love. Greg says he gave Farrah lighters, why because she liked lighters again expression from the heart. Now Greg is disappointed he didn't get a gift of wealth. The likeness is a gift of wealth as it's marketing value is approximately $300k a year. Greg does not want to wash cars anymore. He feels entitled to some form of wealth from Farrah. She got hers its Greg's time now, he would say. The most important loved one got everything, her son Redmond. These other people are adults they can go get a job, work, why support them forever. Greg, has lived his whole life for the payoff and it never came. Good, she was an extremely intelligent woman.

The question that needs answering, how did these autographed pictures magically appear to the awaiting fans? Farrah Fawcett and Greg Lott again reignited their love affair in 1998 and continued a secret love affair through to her death, June 25, 2009. Through those years, Farrah and Greg exchanged numerous love letters, describing the intimate details of their affair. Farrah and Greg published FarrahFawcett.us to sell Farrah’s memorabilia online to help support Farrah’s charities, and ailing father, Jim Fawcett and give Greg Lott additional financial support.

What Greg Lott will not tell you in his August 5, 2009 interview on E True Hollywood Story is that he cheated his longtime secret lover out of several thousand dollars. Greg Lott, states in his interview that Farrah is “the love of his life and best friend” and “the truth of their relationship must come out”. However, what he never tells E True Hollywood Story is how he never sent any revenue consistent with their contract amounting to a $100,000.00 to an estimated $500,000.00. Mr. Lott had trouble finding work following his drug convictions in the 70’s and 80’s and was “washing cars for a living” in Lubbock Tx. Farrah in an attempt to help her lover and friend developed the website in 2005 as a way to raise money for charity, help support her ailing father and give Greg a living. The website was the idea of Farrah Fawcett and came to fruitarian with the help of Farrah’s assistant Mike Pingel in 2005. The financial arrangements of the contract indicate 75% ownership was to be retained by Farrah Fawcett and the remaining 25% was held by Greg Lott for managing the site. Greg Lott provided the day to day operations, as to take orders, send memorabilia and market the site.

Greg Lott states he talked to Farrah on the phone several times a day until Farrah’s return from Germany. Upon Farrah’s return in April 2009, Ryan O’Neal, came back into Farrahs’ life to assist her in what was to be her final days. Mr. Lott states, that during the 2009 Easter weekend, Mr. O’Neal, along with Bernie Francis, opened Farrah’s personal safe discovering the love letters from Greg Lott to Farrah along with personal Polaroid’s of Greg and Farrah together. During that time Ryan O’Neal with a signed power of attorney from Farrah Fawcett, cut Mr. Lott off from all access to Farrah except her doctors, Alana Stewart and Mella Murphy. In my personal letter that is posted on this site and heard around the world, I showed video of O'Neal romping on the beach with a brunette as well as some other unidentified women. O’Neal during this time was allegedly, asking a 20 year old for sex acts in exchange for a car. To my knowledge that case is still pending, now O'Neal is not married and could not marry Farrah as she could not or did not accept his proposal. However, that is beside the point, O'Neal, is constantly on TV, and in news broadcasts crying and stating Farrah is the love of his life. My issue has always been, if Farrah is the love of his life, life partner, soul mate, or what other new word definition you can come up with to describe your relationship. Let me make this clear, only a low life, morally bankrupt individual, romps on the beach with other women, while the soul mate is in a bed dying of cancer. It is obscene that a person would go on TV expressing his undying love while frolicking with other women. This is a lack of respect for the woman herself, and no different than what Senator Edwards pulled. I am weary of this obscenity of a human being (Ryan O’Neal) being taken seriously or even getting his opinion printed let alone even entertained. There are many people out there, (that have written me) that believe the same thing. The big question is why is the evidence, news reports, etc being ignored for the statements of this individual.

Additionally, we brought to the attention of everyone that Alana is actually the woman she is exposed to be. We alerted everyone on the statements that were made by Alana, the camera person, her ethics etc. to her motives for cashing in on this tragedy. We exposed the fact that the diary was missing, statement made on tape within the journal, eyewitness etc all stating the same thing. All ignored.

My original question stands. Who moved the rock and let these people crawl out. Who does this? It just amazes me.

Griffin O’Neal and Greg Lott are working very hard to expose the truth. They should be listened too and applauded. This takes strength, and the man deserves our respect.

Ryan O’Neal may not be the loving, doting partner he’s portrayed himself to be, according to several of Farrah’s friends and family members. They have come forward with surprising accusations including that Ryan became too close to her best friend Alana Stewart. “They were sharing a room together,” Ryan’s son Griffin O’Neal, who is estranged from his father, but is still close with other family member and friends, tells In Touch. But a rep for both Ryan and Alana denies any impropriety. Javier Salazar, a hired companion for Redmond for the past year, also confirms to In Touch that he thinks “Ryan and Alana’s relationship was fishy.” In fact, Griffin reveals that Farrah’s father, Jim, once visited her from Houston when she was ill and walked in on Ryan and Alana together in a spare bedroom. Griffin says. “It made Jim uncomfortable, so he packed his bags and went home.” “Ryan and Alana are a little too cozy with each other,” a former business associate of Farrah’s tells In Touch. “It is raising eyebrows. They both stayed at Farrah’s in the end.” And in May, family friend Dania Marin filed a restraining order against Ryan after he allegedly sexually harassed her for phone sex. “He freaked me out,” she says.

According to Griffin, “Ryan was using Farrah for her money and fame.” Farrah, who Griffin says was worth about $20 million, may not have left anything to Ryan in her will. “Redmond will get most of that if he can keep it together,” Griffin adds. According to Griffin, Farrah stayed with Ryan for so long “for Redmond. Just to let him know they were a family unit.” But Griffin said Ryan was never a good father to Redmond or his other three children — Griffin, Tatum, 45, and Patrick, 41. Cancer Update from Johns Hopkins :

1. Every person has cancer cells in the body. These cancer cells do not show up in the standard tests until they have multiplied to a few billion. When doctors tell cancer patients that there are no more cancer cells in their bodies after treatment, it just means the tests are unable to detect the cancer cells because they have not reached the detectable size.

2. Cancer cells occur between 6 to more than 10 times in a person's lifetime.

3 When the person's immune system is strong the cancer cells will be destroyed and prevented from multiplying and forming tumors.

4. When a person has cancer it indicates the person has multiple nutritional deficiencies. These could be due to genetic, environmental, food and lifestyle factors.

5. To overcome the multiple nutritional deficiencies, changing diet and including 20 supplements will strengthen the immune system.

6. Chemotherapy involves poisoning the rapidly-growing cancer cells and also destroys rapidly-growing healthy cells in the bone marrow, gastrointestinal tract etc, and can cause organ damage, like liver, kidneys, heart, lungs etc.

Sugar substitutes like NutraSweet, Equal, Spoonful, etc are made with Aspartame and it is harmful . A better natural substitute would be Manuka honey or molasses, but only in very small amounts. Table salt has a chemical added to make it white in color. Better alternative is Bragg's aminos or sea salt.

b. Milk causes the body to produce mucus, especially in the gastro-intestinal tract. Cancer feeds on mucus. By cutting off milk and substituting with unsweetened soy milk cancer cells are being starved.

c. Cancer cells thrive in an acid environment. A meat-based diet is acidic and it is best to eat fish, and a little chicken rather than beef or pork. Meat also contains livestock antibiotics, growth hormones and parasites, which are all harmful, especially to people with cancer.

d. A diet made of 80% fresh vegetables and juice, whole grains, seeds, nuts and a little fruits help put the body into an alkaline environment. About 20% can be from cooked food including beans. Fresh vegetable juices provide live enzymes that are easily absorbed and reach down to cellular levels within 15 minutes to nourish and enhance growth of healthy cells. To obtain live enzymes for building healthy cells try and drink fresh vegetable juice (most vegetables including bean sprouts) and eat some raw vegetables 2 or 3=2 0times a day. Dioxins are highly poisonous to the cells of our bodies. Don't freeze your plastic bottles with water in them as this releases dioxins from the plastic. Recently, Dr. Edward Fujimoto, Wellness Program Manager at Cast le Hospital, was on a TV program to explain this health hazard. He talked about dioxins and how bad they are for us. He said that we should not be heating our food in the microwave using plastic containers. This especially applies to foods that contain fat. He said that the combination of fat, high heat, and plastics releases dioxin into the food and ultimately into the cells of the body. Instead, he recommends using glass, such as Corning Ware, Pyrex or ceramic containers for heating food. You get the same results, only without the dioxin. So such things as TV dinners, instant ramen and soups, etc., should be removed from the container and heated in something else. Paper isn't bad but you don't know what is in the paper. It's just safer to use tempered glass, Corning Ware, etc. He reminded us that a while ago some of the fast food restaurants moved away from the foam containers to paper. The dioxin problem is one of the reasons.
Also, he pointed out that plastic wrap, such as Saran, is just as dangerous when placed over foods to be cooked in the microwave. As the food is nuked, the high heat causes poisonous toxins to actually melt out of the plastic wrap and drip into the food. Cover food with a paper towel instead.

Mike Pingel Unsung Hero's In Farrah's Life

Another unsung hero in Farrah’s life is Mike Pingel of charliesangels.com. Mike was Farrah's assistant (from Nov 2005- Oct 2007) when Greg Lott and Farrah started farrahfawcett.us. He was instrumental in helping create the product with Farrah and Greg including the Fight The Fight t-shirt artwork, photos and posters. To make clear everything on the Farrah’s website including the news and product were all approved by Farrah and was managed by Greg Lott.

As her assistant Mike had many jobs he ran her house, helped with publicity, cooked for her, screened her calls (which made him many enemies) and was the webmaster for Farrahfawcett.us per Farrah’s request.

He was a devoted friend to her and when she got sick from the treatment, he cleaned it up. Here is something you probably don’t know and has been overlooked; during October 2006 to February 2007 Mike drove Farrah to UCLA for treatment every week and surprisingly was never stalked by the paparazzi, yet unlike Ryan O’Neal who seemed to be photographed every time he drove her there. Interesting don’t you think.

I was shocked to find out Mike was not allowed to go to the funeral to mourn his friend. This was shamefully disrespectful to a man who stood by his Angel.

How I Met Farrah

In my early years when I started out, I was bodyguard to Dinah Shore, who was good friends with Farrah, and her then husband Lee Majors. I got the chance to meet Farrah at a dinner and showing of Lee Major’s Movie- Francis Gary Powers. They had come to Dinah’s house and Pauline the housekeeper as usual made an amazing dinner. I had the opportunity to be around Dinah and Pauline who were to say the least amazing spirits. They loved Farrah, and thought she was the sweetest of people. Pauline loved Farrah, they both loved to cook, and ironically Pauline was Farrah's mothers name. I got close to Pauline because I say her 6 days a week for several years along with Dinah. Farrah and Lee arrived that night for dinner in a new Porsche Turbo Carrera. I let them, in and they were very nice. Lee had almost run out of gas getting to the house for dinner, and let’s say Farrah was asking Lee why he didn't get gas. Now this hit home as my girlfriend always asks why I hate to get gas, I guess its a guy thing. anyway. Lee comes out of the house and asked if one of the security people could drive his car and get gas. Dinah ok’d it and we had other guys on the property, so sometimes the boss gets the perks, I jumped at the chance to drive the new Turbo Porsche Carrera. I raced that car and got it up to 90 going down Beverly to Rodeo. I got back to house and gave the car back wishing that I could have one, this was 1978. Farrah was really sweat, I was just the bodyguard, and she treated me as she did everyone like we all were something very special. Later on, Farrah was kind enough to sign an outtake copy of the photograph of her and the cougar for me. I still have that picture. When she decided to divorce Lee Majors, I was asked to be the scout with the security team watching the Mulholland house. I was a bodyguard for years, actors, music people the whole gambit, but Farrah, was genuinely nice, treated us like she had known us for years. She went out of her way to make us feel comfortable. When Greg Lott contacted me and asked me for help, and showing me the letters, we’ll you can go from there.

Griffin O'Neal's Interview on CNN's Showbiz stating his father, Ryan O'Neal is a "dark man" connected to (Farrah's Funeral) "for all the wrong reasons". Griffin, says his father was expecting "a large payday" from Farrah Fawcetts death. Griffin was denied access to Farrah's funeral, and the ability to say goodbye to his longtime friend and stepmother. Greg Lott, Farrah's longtime lover and friend says that Farrah loved Griffin and was very appreciative of Griffin's action in saving his brother, her son's life. Griffin states in the interview that he "knows so much more" and the "truth will come out".

On a personal Note, I have had the honor of meeting Griffin O'Neal, he is a very strong, and honorable man who wants his brother Redmond to get the help he needs. Griffin wants the truth to come out and his father to pay for all the abuse as described in his sister Tatum's book, "A Paper Life". Griffin, his lovely, wife JoAnne, and their 2 year old son make a strong and formidable team. Griffin, Tatum, and Redmond deserve our support, trust and understanding.

Unsung Heroes-Griffin O'Neal

There has been allot of press about Griffin O'Neal being banned from Farrah's Funeral. This man, saved Redmond's life on numerous occasions. Remember Griffin was a kid growing up with Farrah as his step-mother. She loved him and knew all the things he did to help her son. He had grown up and was a victim of abuse by his father Ryan and tried desperatly to help his brother. He is an amazing, tough and honorable individual. He has been in contact with Farrah's secret lover and friend, Greg Lott and they were able to share stories and help each other through the pain of thier mutual loss. Farrah loved Griffin very much, and discussed all the things Griffin had done to help her and her son. In one instance Griffin took Farrah to the hospital after Ryan alledgedly broke Farrah's arm in an argument. This very honorable man has been there and knows the truth of abuse, he had more of a right to be at that funeral than his father. For those of us who know what you did we will be eternally grateful. A large group (and building) of Farrah's supporters, and fans are gathering at Highland/Vine in Hollywood. This large expression of love in this place will continue 24/7 through July 4th weekend. Notice this expression and not at the funeral site goes for blocks. Notice that these loved one's did not show to the funeral but at this place a place they picked. These loved one's, know that Farrah's church was Loyola Marimont. They know she wanted to be cremated like her mother. As a matter of fact, her mothers ashes were with Farrah always in an urn in her bedroom. She touched so many lives, and is an inspiration of good, tenacity and hope that she will live on forever. Farrah's Day of Mourning

Today is the day, everyone that knew, loved, idolized or watched this fine lady over the years can morn her death. She has had an amazing life, filed with joy, love and sadness. She fought Cancer, Domestic Violence and Drug Abuse with a fervor only matched by our troupes in Iraq and Afghanistan. Farrah did not care about ones color, sexual orientation or any other personal detail she cared what was in your heart. She truly loved everyone and was a model of what we all should be. This show today, masked as a funeral, by some professing to be the loves of her life, will not include a man she deeply and passionately loved. It is amazing to me that the fact that Farrah had love in her heart for one person, a man who was the rock she leaned on, that stayed out of the limelight is so threatening to some. That love existed and still exists today. Here is a fact that we had not released yet. Farrah waited to die on Greg Lott's Sober Birthday. Greg's sober birthday has been celebrated by the two every year for 22 years. The fact that she died on this day, can be interpreted by some as coincidence, however the ones that truly knew her, know her faith, know that she died on that day, to give her long time love a sign that it’s ok, and don't you dare mar this day. To a few in the know, it is a sign that God is involved in this relationship and will continue his intervention.

I don't know if God is working however I am working and I am relentless like she was. I have all the letters, pictures, and evidence exposing the terrible things done to this angel. Just know that through the following days, weeks and years. Each and every facet of the behavior on the part of members of Farrah’s "inner circle" (Ryan O'Neal, Mella Murphy, Alana Stewart and Joan Dangerfield) will be exposed. They can come and write Anonymous comments to try and sway opinion, but the truth will come out. No more red carpets, no more reality programs, and most importantly no more free stuff. Be afraid, be very afraid, you have no idea what I have in my possession.
