Many people that bought and received “personalized” autographed pictures are complaining that they were defrauded. Farrah Fawcett from Easter 2009 to her death on June 25, 2009 was incapable of signing documents. Additionally, Greg Lott had not had physical contact with Fawcett, since the inception of the website in 2005. The question that needs answering, how did these autographed pictures magically appear to the awaiting fans? If these photos were fakes then who signed the pictures for Lott or did Lott himself sign the pictures? Incidentally, Mr. Lott carries a copy of Farrah’s signature in his wallet at all times. Regardless, these allegations need to be investigated, and answered. Mr. Lott was not available for comment.
I personally spoke to Greg Lott today about my order and he plans to get all orders filled and sent. He apologized and was nice and I will give him the benefit of the doubt.

Patience my friends. There are two sides to every situation. Greg Lott is a good guy and I believe he will handle orders in a proper fashion. Do you think celebs sign every item?
ReplyDeleteIt is their personal signature, but unless you see them in person, chances are it has been applied. You wouldn't get a poster for the price you paid if Farrah signed it personally for you. Again, I believe everyone in this situation is doing the best they can.
I spoke to Greg and he plans to honor all orders placed before the site was shut down. So I admire he went out of his way to let me know.

I posted this on the last post and I am posting it here because I feel it is important to not be judgemental. Consider this as the incidents have unfolded. What I am questioning now is, how is it that Farrah's estate is only 3.5 million, she's been working since the '70's and the documentary she just sold to NBC or was it ABC was paid millions so how could her Estate only be workth 3.5 miliion that doesn't make since to me.
ReplyDeleteOk. I have a differing view of this based on what I've just read. It seems to me that perhaps there is more than meets the eye here. Based on what Mr. Miller wrote, if Mr. Lott had access to Ms. Fawcett for some time before he was cut off, then that is why some people got their merchandize. While she was still able to communicate it seems, things were going well. If is true and we dont' know if it is speculation or what, but Mr. Miller wrote that when Ryan entered her safe, he found letters to Mr. Lott from Farrah and vice versa, at that point he cut Mr. Lott off, so if that happened and Gregg was not able to have access to Farrah, then is that why he could not longer send out the merchandize and that is why he was raising a ruckus. That is why there was bad blood between the two. Now what probably should have happened, was MR. Lott should have let the purchasers know what was going on and I thint that was what he was trying to do by raising hell about being cut off from her. That is the real reason to me as to what has happened. Now he probably did not want to return thee money he collected to Ryan, that makes sense to me, they both see themselves as Farrah's protectors, but what he should have done was put the money in an escrow account and explain to the purchasers what was going on. I dont' think he would put himself in jail again, because he knows he has to come up with that money and return it to the Estate of Farrah Fawcett. I would think. I do think there is a reason that Ryan O'Neal has come clean about a lot of stuff that was discussed on this board. IF Mr. Lott is writing a book, I think it is to let us know what was really going on, I for one am still holding out that there is more to come out as Mr. Miller is saying and since Mr. Lott was the first one to sound the alarm bell, even though he still is in a pickle, Ryan put him in a pickle purposely. It has already been established that Farrah showed kindness to him by helping him by giving him work, and as much as he cared for her I do not believe for one minute he would cheat her. I think he held on to the money after Ryan cut him off and until he can f8gure out how to give the money back and give the purchasers what they bought. Ryan set him up to fail by closing the site, if Mr. Lott was unable to financially finance the site himself, of course he needed the income from the site to keep going. I personally don't find that as "cheating" farrah. I think they were both hoping for income from the site and of course Ms. Fawcett passed and then Ryan closed it down so there went whatever financial viability Mr. Lott had, it seems to me. The Feds will find out what happened to the money. Mr. Miller, now I do not know why he will not communicate with you, that seems odd, but I am sure he will be forthcoming. I haven't counted him out yet, because of Ryan's candor in the VF piece. Why would he be so candid now? Because something is getting ready to break that's why. I mean just the validity of Ryan's candor was amazing. I was touched by it and probably will be touched by Mr. Lott's predicament. Let's just wait it out and not be judgmental until all the facts are in. I too am confused.

Italia, Lol--yes I took a rest from posting and almost posted a few blogs back but saw where questions, and some nasty post were posted- IT WAS NOT ME- LOL I could not understand one blog or most of it- But never would I say things like that on a blog- I was not ging to post again after fof-anon or anonfof went at me for no reason ? But things calmed down so I then felt safe- I hope MOTY and Angel Charlie post again. They were really into alot of cancer knowledge . I just hope at some point we can see something good in print about Farrah, I cannot understand why Ryan has said and done some of the things he has done. I also felt sad for his children ,very sad for all of them. Griffen did not play on my guilt as I truly believe him, and then again anger causes alot to be said, but basicly he said nothing that Ryan has not already admitte to in VF magazine. ReplyDeleteI totally believe Griffin and I never understood why Tatum and Griffin continue to get abused by the press for speaking out. Last night on Showbiz Tonight on HLN they were saying Griffin had no right to speak out against his dad at this time,but it's okay for Alana to write a book,Ryan to call his son a bad guy and refuse him to pay final respects to Farrah and to say he hates his son in Vanity Fair. Both Tatum and Griffin had to deal with enough and they should be allowed to speak out. It seems people do want to accept that a former movie star was an abusive self centered ego maniac who cares about nobody but himself and destroyed everyone around him,it's like the major news stations/tv/talk shows want to discredit Griffin I guess they are hoping for a Ryan interview as if anyone really belives anything Ryan has to say. His waterless tears on the Today show spoke volumes. I watched Larry King last night and at the end Alana's lawyer Howard Weitzman denied griffin's claims. Claims??? Do any of these news people do their research and realize that Ryan has been known as an abuser for decades,this just did not come about in the last few months,it's been known what he's like.
Alana had a book deal Im sure way before Farrah died. So that alone says who she really is. Less then 2 months since Farrah dies she writes a book on her friend,I understand in Hollywood writting a book is normal but could she have at least waited 6 months just to show some respect and class! Why does Alana have such a high priced lawyer for??? She claims to be such a saint and claims to have done nothing but care for her friend.She and Ryan seem very defensive,I wonder why?
Alana released a statement that Ryan had more money then farrah and Griffins claims are crazy and she would sue him but she said it cost tens of thousands of dollars.In touch weekly said that a friend of Ryan's told griffin Alana and Ryan were having an affair. The fact that Alana says Ryan had more money then Farrah says to me that they probably did have an affair. I mean Alana does have a reputation for going after rich men, but I would think she's way to OLD for Ryan's taste. Alana would have made a wonderful High class call girl in my opinion. And I use the word High Class since she loves the rich n famous.Also she has zero talent and i think that profession would have been her calling,but 64 may be to old now.

Hi guys. If Alana is and was Farrah's "Best Friend" why would she want to sue Griffin? She would then know that what Griffin said is true, as Ryan just admitted to all of it, save the affair with Alana allegation. Of course Ryan isn't that overwhelmed with grief that he would do something like that as it would blow Alana's book sales to smitherenes so they would never in a million years admit to such. Now I am not saying I believe it either, as it would be too ugly for me to phanthom, neverthess, if he would hit on his own daughter, as Tatum said, you make of it what you will. I don't know, the kids come off credible to me, I've always liked Tatum, she emanates a tough patina, although the vulnerability is there. It is palpable. I really do not give a rat's arse about Alana. I have to believe that she was there for Farrah in her last days and it appears they did have a strong bond, but to cash in on your best friend's death by asking for payment and a producer's credit for doing something she asked you to do because she was too ill to do it herself. I would think as most business agreements go, if Farrah wanted her to have that, she would have set it up in the agreement with Nevius fromt he get go. Why would Alana have to "ask" for it after the fact? It smells to high heaven and she doesn't come off in a good light in my book. But if she wants to write a book from "her perspective about what she witnessed from Farrah going through her travails then that is another story. And from what I've heard, that is what she is claiming to have done. Suddenly everyone's keeping a journal, she, Ryan, and God knows who else. I wish the Van Pattans would write a tribute book about their friendshipw with Farrah, they were true friends over the years and Mr. Van Patten's face looked so sad at the funeral. I hope Ryan reconciles with his children, that is my greatest hope.
ReplyDeleteYou know I just can't shake this thing. One thing I am discovering however, is that she was as Lee Majors said years ago, one classy lady. FRom the little that is dribbing out and what Ryan spoke of in his VF interview, is that she, like most southern women was really a sweet, sweet person. Southern and Catholic and coming to Hollywood, OMG! I've been readin gold interviews to try and get a sense of her spirit and how she evolved over the years and I can see the sweetness, i think that is what appealed to us when we were so young, she emanted that off screen along with her sensuaility. I had no idea she was not having the sunny life as her smile portrayed. Now I'm not from the sunnybrooke farm, I know life isn't a bowl of cherries, but you never heard any real scandal about Farrah until the her separation from Mr. Majors and years later, the Letterman interview. I knew she and Ryan always had their ups and downs, but they stayed together so I thought, everything was cool. When Tatum's book came out I was curious to see what type of stepmother Farrah was. One thing I didn't understand was how she allowed Ryan to move in with her and ignore his children. That would have raised all sorts of red flags with me, but from some of the photos on-line, perhaps she did try to create a family atmosphere. One poignant point Ryan made about Farrah was that she really was the picket fence, cook for your man kind of girl, and that is exactly how southern women are...although the cook for your man gene was lost on me somehow, but as a southern woman, you do want the picture perfect life, I know I've always wanted that for myself. But Farrah was amazing at having all this kept under wraps over the years. How the incident about finding Ryan in bed on Valentines day never made the news, well, I guess that's why they broke up. That must have been very hurtful for Farrah and comical as well.
ReplyDeleteI think Tatum always craved her father's love and attention and when Farrah came into the picture I feel tatum misdirected her anger at Farrah rather then her dad. Im glad she and Farrah made peace before farrah died
