We have received numerous messages concerning the documentary. The original “film” named “A Wing and a Prayer” which was meant to bring to light the exceptional work done by DR. URSULA JACOB’S KLINIK finding a cure for cancer. This was not a love story, but a media manipulation for those who have just been in the shadow of others fame to fame itself. It was not the point of the video for others to use the beauty or light of a person for their own gain. This video is the story of an amazing woman with cancer and the journey to knowledge she traveled and the team of doctors in Germany she worked with. The News: this is exceptional team of doctors has found a cure for cancer. This documentary was the vehicle to educate everyone to the options available. Everyone should have the opportunity to seek these treatments and not be limited by the Medical Establishment. The good news is the word is spreading. I spoke to a business associate yesterday after his wife was recently diagnosed with liver cancer. She is in one of the top clinics in New York. She was told in essence go home and die, there is nothing we can do. Following this news, and after seeing Farrahs’ Message he sought out Dr. Jacobs and the prognosis is good. This is exactly what Farrah wanted, not settle for the status quo but to reach out for the new cures at hand.
We have received a lot of requests for an address to send the letters and gifts. I spoke with Donna Curry, The Manager of Farrah’s building. She stated that Ryan ONeal was making all decisions concerning this issue. Please Send all your cards and gifts to Farrah Fawcett C/O Ryan ONeal Pro Gym, 11943 Montana Ave # 1st Los Angeles, CA 90049 - (310) 826-6624 FIGHT THE FIGHT.
Thank you

I'm just finding out about all of this. I will pray for Farrah. I grew up watching her. She is such an inspiration to me. Girls (women) can be strong and powerful. We can take control of our lives, and become amazing people. I had the haircut and everything. I have admired her for so very long, and will always. My family will pray that her cure will happen! Love is all around her, and miracles can happen. She has inspired so many people and they are all praying. Fight and know that love surrounds her always. I'm writing this with tears, so it's not the best. ~Alysia
ReplyDeleteI hope that Ms. Fawcett and the people handling her affairs will get the truth out on all the treatment she received so that objective lessons can be learned from her case that will educate the public on the plusses and minuses of American and German cancer care.
ReplyDeleteShe is the highest profile celebrity cancer case since Steve McQueen.
There is plenty of cancer cure quackery out there in the blogosphere and I'm sure Ms. Fawcett has been deluged with all kinds of supposed cancer cures from kooks.
Another issue is her rejection of the surgical option because of the extensive disfigurement of APR and the need for research into better surgical options for anal cancer.
I also hope that the bodypainting rumor can be addressed. It's already circulating on the internet that her body painting activity led to her anal cancer. That should be objectively discussed. Body paint is supposed to be certified as non-toxic in order to be sold in the US. That raises the question whether toxicity testing is adequate in the US of this kind of paint. - Angel Charlie
P.S. I pray for Farrah every day.
ReplyDeleteThere is a silent prayer for Farrah scheduled for today, Sunday June 14th, at 2 PM Pacific Time.
Say a prayer for Farrah, please.
Whatever happens, it will be ok because Farrah is a beautiful soul who has already helped others to be strong, have hope and to pray. She is an inspiration to me and I know that no matter how this ends, she will be joyful and free.
ReplyDeletePlease,please give Farrah my love.
ReplyDeleteMy heart goes out to that woman.
Tell her she is in my prayers.
Would you remove that comment about the "Medical Establishment"?
ReplyDeleteWithout the "Medical Establishment", the "smart" drug Gleevec is not produced and Ryan O'Neal dies from leukemia.
I don't think it's appropriate to trash the "Medical Establishment", since Farrah still might find her miracle with the "smart" drugs being developed by the "Medical Establishment" that target the mutations of her "terrorist" cancer cells.
The big picture is that battling cancer is a 2 pronged assault - seeking the "magic bullet" "Smart" drug miracle while fighting the progression of the disease, such as the Electro-Hyperthermia treatments she received in Germany, to buy the time to continue the pursuit of the miracle.
I was diagnosed with colon/rectal cancer in June, 2008 and have been following Farrah's story for sometime. Please thank Farrah for using her power by sharing her personal story. I saw the documentary and was in awe of her courage to share such a personal part of her life. Getting the word out about the devistation of a cancer diagnosis and more importantly how we can share information about this disease is critical to finding a cure.
ReplyDeleteI have created a blog entitled "Life has a New Perspective" at:

My message serves to offer inspiration to other cancer patients, survivors and caregivers that there is LIFE AFTER CANCER.
My prayers are with you Farrah.

Your message is heard and seen by millions...saving how many lives in the future. I salute you and Ryan, and family for this gift to mankind.
ReplyDeletePeace, and God's blessings,
from someone who just lost my loving spouse in April this year. I truly understand the loss your family feels.
