Farrah Fawcett Tribute
A large group (and building) of Farrah's supporters, and fans are gathering at Highland/Vine in Hollywood. This large expression of love in this place will continue 24/7 through July 4th weekend. Notice this expression and not at the funeral site goes for blocks. Notice that these loved one's did not show to the funeral but at this place a place they picked. These loved one's, know that Farrah's church was Loyola Marimont. They know she wanted to be cremated like her mother. As a matter of fact, her mothers ashes were with Farrah always in an urn in her bedroom. She touched so many lives, and is an inspiration of good, tenacity and hope that she will live on forever. Thank you all for your expressions of love.

This is so very sad. To think Farrah did not get her wish, and I have wondered as to where the casket was taken, thinking all of these years Farrah wanted cremation- I trust those who had access to her things atleast placed her Mothers Urn close to Her, or in a sacred place. I am stunned.

I wish I could be there. And yes she did touch many lives I never knew her and she had a huge impact on me through her work and beauty.
ReplyDeleteHey does anyone know when the farrah site will be back up and running for business? Fans still would like to buy stuff, and hoping who ever runs it does not raise prices trying to cash in on the loss of our icon !

But strange as it sounds, I am not a bitter person, I look back and laugh, I will say I think fate played a terrible twist on us this past week. So yes maybe im bitter that the gloved one has overshadowed SUNSHINE- Farrah is just that SUNSHINE-

I know that it was never agreed on in the Chasing episode with Nate Sanders . I just wonder where most of that huge warehouse of Farrah's will end up.
I remember she commented that She only had one Warhole in her home, and yet it was strange to see a second one in the FARRAH STORY as Redmond entered his Mothers bedroom. So 2 were actualy in her home- maybe those who lived their in her last days ,suggested they both be placed in the home- Farrah did say IT WOULD BE STUPID - So again Nikki did you notice this as well. Those Warholes are pricless- very expensive and sooooooooooo !

Yes Those Warhols are worth alot and I think she has 2 or 3 that he did of her plus the drawings he did for her on napkins. The Red swimsuit oh god I hope it does not end up in that greedy scums hands. I hope to God she had a will and everything goes to her dad. I really hope things like the Warhol's and the red swimsuit does not end up being sold and the slob spends it on young girls and drugs

ReplyDeleteIt was heartbreaking to see her father mourn in the photos of the funeral. I always thought of him as FUN, FUNNY, AND STRONG FOR HIS AGE.
Seeing him with Farrah was always so, so funny.
But this has really taken a toll on him.

O'NEAL BANNED SON FROM FAWCETT'S FUNERAL
ReplyDeleteRYAN O'NEAL's estranged son GRIFFIN was banned from attending FARRAH FAWCETT's funeral on Tuesday (30Jun09) - because he's "a bad guy".
Redmond, the actor's 24-year-old son by Fawcett, gave a reading during the ceremony at Los Angeles' Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels after he was granted a three-hour release from jail, where he's serving time on drug charges - but his half-brother was not welcome.
Speaking to U.S. news show Extra outside the funeral, Griffin O'Neal, 44, insisted Fawcett would have been upset he wasn't able to bid farewell to his father's longtime companion.
He said, "She's mad I'm not in there."
Speaking hours after the service, Paper Moon star O'Neal confirmed he refused to allow his son to attend the funeral, adding, "He's a bad guy."
Father and son have been estranged since the beginning of 2007 following a fight at the family home, which ended with Ryan firing off a shotgun into the stairwell. Reformed drug addict Griffin's 22-year-old pregnant girlfriend, JoAnne Berry, was injured during the fight.
Ryan O'Neal claimed his son grazed him "four or five times" with a fireplace poker, and that when he ducked to avoid the swinging weapon, Griffin "hit his own girlfriend in the head."
To the three of you commenting on this sight...you are passionate in your view of the person Farrah was...I am citygirl from the other posts, not an inner circle person. I stand firm in my thoughts that should the three of you stop the line of gossip garbage...because if you are not there you really will never know and focus all of this energy in fighting Farrah's fight, I believe, she would be proud of her fans...for focusing on " her fight for cancer " and let the O'Neals be...that is how she would be proud of her fans...use your energies to promote her cause...she chose to stay with ryan, that is not for us to discuss, only to move on and honor her...God Bless
ReplyDeletePeace everyone. Farrah and Ryan loved each other. It was evident. All of the jealousy can go home now. Her Father attended this funeral and so did her son...it was a Christian burial and service. Let Ms. Fawcett RIP.
ReplyDeleteGriffin O'neal was seen on Showbiz tonight speaking out stating that his father was exploiting Farrah during her last days and it is also being noted through various media reports that Ryan was sporting what looked like a wedding ring. Question of the day is it for "real" or just for more exploitive attention.

For a boy to drive 300 miles to pay respect to Farrah, and the boy being the son, of OLE Neal ? who refused him solace, COMFORT, A DRINK OF WATER, THE RESTROOM ? I HAVE THE RIGHT TO SAY , IT IS WRONG- Farrah would not have allowed it- Those who wanted to see her in life and were kept away, was a terribly shame. Dr Piro himselve said Farrah was coherent until about 2 hours prior to passing, as well as continuing to FIGHT up until this time- A reflection, a memory, a face, a fragrance could have added to her comfort.Farrah was a fighter, Farrah used the work F--k, and so let's get real, she would have had a fitt over the way people were treated, and are being treated. I am sure alot of offense has happened, and will possibly still happen in the future. I am just stunned, and to think O neal was taped shortly after the hearst drove away, and taped in a condition that is more offensive than any negative post I have left. So as Farrah IS now THE INHERITED ONE OF 2 SET'S OF WINGS- I respect her , miss her and know that justice will show it's face. But for a SUGAR COATED SITE WHERE GOOD THINGS HAPPEN ,AND ARE SAID, I have seen them. They do exist ! To let Farrah rest is a done deal, She rested the moment she left ! Those left behind who love her, and the neglect and disrespect caused by others left behind is terrible. I would have loved to have seen a beautiful ,and public funeral, yet I am now understanding just why it was private- Atleast my father never knocked out my front teeth- and my Father would never have me removed from anywhere- His last child Redmond is in the best place of all.
My gosh , I trust this boy stood in dignity, and proudness as his chains rattled, and read from the bible at his Mothers Funeral. HIS STORY WILL ONE DAY BE TOLD- God Bless Redmond, who had to know his father turned one child away- So no I am in no way disrespecting Farrah, She left us Redmond- and I can bet you that this legacy will be amazing, as this boy has seen rock bottom- and again as Farrah said they seperated due to parental disagreements on how to care for Redmond. Farrah did her part ! Farrah adored the legacy she left , and as Redmond who has my prayers, beats his demons ,God will ,shed light on the darkness- So as the day's to come are full of MJ, and the circus that will follow his passing, I will in no way stop my prayer's, and trust for why I have seen and read what I have . Not only here, but almost everywhere- After all we know Farrah hated a pile of TRASH- So as work is done to clean up the mess, We can still agree to disagree, and KNOW FARRAH IS LAUGHING !

Out several hours partying and holding hands with a woman young enough to be his grandaughter,probably drunk after the funeral of his so called love of his life. I don't care if your part of the inner circle or not.If your not a part of it then please stop letting Barbara Walters and Entertainment Tonight think for you and use your brain and if you are a part of the inner circle your going to hell when you die,to sit back and allow vampires to feed off of FF and all the other things that slob did to her!

I bet if the guest , like Lee Majors knew this was happening , it would have been war. Lee might have been a tough man to live with, yet he seemed like a fair man. Again anyone who act's like o neal at a funeral is really got a problem. I am guessing Griffen knows alot, a whole lot.

Lee Majors would have never done what slob has done and Lee never went out of his way to degrade FF after the divorce and I respect that.

To anon Farrah is at peace. And sorry but love is something that Ryan knows nothing about.The only love he has is for himself. You don't go out partying a few hours after the funeral of the so called love of your life and make out with a young blonde in a limo or hold hands with a young brunette that seems to be his girlfriend and look like your the happiest guy in the world.He did not look sad,he looked quite happy actually so this true love is nothing but a Hollywood fable
