sorry Greg and I know you are hurting, but the video and mention of your own book is pretty bad. Depending on what you are putting in the book, I don't know who is going to buy it. Please reconsider the book, at least now. I know you are hurting, and eventually you will be able to make decisions, please do not do it now.
Alana Stewart an actress? You have to be kidding. That woman has never worked a day in her life, has always lived off men. She is the worse kind of human being... and now that she is old and has no money (or beauty), she is old and ugly; she is pairing up with O'Neal thinking on the fortune O'Neal could inherit from Fawcett. I hope Fawcett has left all her money to her kid, Dad, and other people rather than these two good for nothing ex-boyfriend and two timing best female friend who only wanted and want to profit.
This old dude comes off as CRAZY. If he and FF were in a "relationship" for 11 years as he states, why were they NEVER seen together publicly? I think he is trying to hold onto a fantasy of years past and he looks and sounds like a total fool. He appears to be an old friend. Period, the end. Sorry, but this site, Greg Lott and all come off as opportunists and total shams.
Anonymous, unkind person, No matter who Ms. Fawcett left her dollar amount to, the people that were with her in the last few months and held her hand are the true beneficiaries.
This interview was disturbing at the least. When were Ryan and Farrah married and divorced? The editing (so to speak) was terrible...at the point where the interviewer says " he's been clean and sober for over 25 years", Greg takes drink from what looks like a beer!! And, shock of all shocks...he's writing a book! So, it's in bad taste,tacky and low to write a book and talk about it two weeks after your friend dies, but OK if you wait a month???
Moty when he was young he was good looking,Im not saying the guy had character or class or talent. He was never my type but in my opinion I can say he WAS nice looking in the 70's and early 80's. I like Johnny Depp types personally. But please don't confuse what I said as being a fan or suppoerter of Ryan because Im not. And I agree with his reputation even way back in 1982 I will never understand what FF saw in him. Have you heard from texboy? I wish he would'nt allowed anonymous to chase him off. I have to say, i think this interview is CREEPY, i personally do NOT get a good feeling from him or the answers he gave. Shadia I ordered a fight the fight shirt to aid in dr.jacobs travel costs to treat farrah as it stated. I already had one and did not want another,so I ordered it anyway for a family member as I was to believe it was to aid in someones health(farrah fawcett) and the email to ff.us is invalid. What did mother of the year say about how FF got cancer? I don't know what was said but Im sick and tired of hearing she got it through anal sex!!!!!!!! I been hearing this a lot and it makes me SICK. Anal cancer is RARE not much is know since little research goes to rare cancers. I know since my mother has a rare cancer and she was also told rare cancers DO NOT GET THE RESEARCH THEY NEED! I don't care if a smoker gets cancer or whatever COMPASSION is what anyone with cancer should get and needs. NOT JUDGEMENTS. Far R, I really don't know what to say.Im waiting for it to get cleard up and if it does'nt then my bank will be notified. Even if he does not have anymore at least contact me and give me another option on other merchandise to choose from or give a refund. Im tired of people being dishonest and Im trying to reach him a different way and we will see. So right now I will pass any judgements yet. Nikki - I received an email from Mr. Lott saying he will send me a refund and that he wanted his pre-print back. Sure enough I received a check a few days ago. As soon as it clears the bank I will send him his photo back.
I think Greg Lott should go ahead and write his book. Alana is. You know Ryan will eventually. It would bring balance. Personally, I wish Mr. Lott had moved on with his life and not wasted it waiting and hoping that Farrah would come back. In her heart of hearts she probably wanted to but it was too late to turn back. Her life was not so simple anymore plus she became a creature of Hollywood. That is, I think she liked it there. What would she do back in Texas? Farrah belonged to the world. That was her choice. She was no longer that Farrah of 41 years ago.

I just have read for months such evil crude posts about how farrah got anal cancer and it's out of line. I understand your joke about Ryan. But we have to remember that HPV is not the only reason for anal cancer. But I get what you meant. I think that is Lott's mental state. He's a bitter clinger. He's not clinging to his religion and bitter about the loss of his offshored middle class blue collar job.
He's clinging to an old college relationship with FF and bitter against O'Neal and Stewart for blocking his access to FF.
He needs a catharsis to deal with his mental state and writing his book is his catharsis.
Whether he's able to sell it to a publisher is separate.

I hope at some point the mud slinging can go away.If your on Ryan's,Alana's or Greg's side it does'nt matter. What matters is Farrah and her message,her legacy and body of work she left behind.This all is starting to get tired and meaningless. I don't care who it is as long as they are trustworthy,someone needs to create a FF website that celebrates her life,legacy,career and courageous message. She needs to remembered and paid tribute to and mechandise sales should go to her foundation. The focus should be Farrah and Farrah only
Sales of FF merchandise does need to be revived someway to fund her cancer foundation because that cancer foundation is the mechanism to answer the two questions she posed at the end of Farrah's Story.
It's got to fund the clinical trials for rare cancers like hers and foreign treatments to get them included in the standard treatment protocols in the US.
Also, there are many advances, like Cyberknife, Tomotherapy, genetic profiling and smart drugs, etc. that need clinical trials funded to establish their scientific basis to get them included in standard treatment protocols so that it's all covered by insurance.
It would be nice if someone did an enumerated list of all the treatments FF received to fight her cancer to see which ones are covered by insurance and which ones were not.
Maybe that's a Dr. Piro and Dr. Jacob book.
I think Lott is wrong to attack Alana on 'stealing' FF's cancer diaries.
Alana was the only who was there all the time and can put each passage of the diaries in context in her book.
The interview was quite short,I think he needs to explain in more detail on how he came to these conclusions on the subject of stealing diaries and so on. maybe these questions will be addressed to Alana when she promotes her book. And I assume Mr.Lott will go into more detail in his book. Any other books on FF coming out???????
It would be nice if someone did a huge coffee table book of photographs on Farrah like the one on Marilyn Monroe The Last Sitting
Angel Charlie Im not saying merchandise is needed to donate to Farrah fawcett foundation.I mean that a new website needs to be put up in her honor and a place for fans to remember and to bring new fans who may never know who she was and what she stood for as well as her amazing acting career.Im saying that if a Official website dedicated to her life and her battle along with merchandise will only fuel her causes and her legacy.She deserves it in my opinion. Her Fight the Fight campaign should continue. Tell all books are not the answers and it serves no one but the author and the book publishers. People can write all the tel all's they want,but once it becomes a dusty book on the shelf then what? The real meaning once again gets lost and her memory and message of hope will fade unless someone does something in her honor.Once again it's my opinion and you can disagree or agree. I have to say, i am happy Farrah seems to have left all her money to Red, and it seems she did it in a good way with trustees who will oversee how he gets the money ! SHE WAS A SMART WOMAN ! What i am a little shocked by is how little it seems to be, i really thought she was worth ALOT more than the few million its stated to be. Not that this is important or anything, i just am shocked with all her years in the business she didnt have a larger estate.

In defence of Ryan O'Neal ... He WAS a handsome man, BACK in the day. No one can say otherwise. He's still okay for his age, and I don't think he had any surgery done. DO NOT GET ME WRONG!!! I AM NOT A FAN OF HIS...Never was and never will be! BUT you can't call someone ugly if they are not. I did prefer Farrah with Lee Majors. They made a good couple. However, like everyone else, I do not see what Farrah ever saw in Ryan. I never did like him.
As far as the book is concerned. I'm glad another book will be published. Even though I do not like, or trust, Alana Stewart, I will eventualy get her book just out of curiousity. There hasn't been many books written on Farrah, and I do wish she left us her autobiography. Something I was forever waiting for! If Greg does write his book, I'll be amoungst the first to purchase it. Just because these people are writing about Farrah, DOES NOT mean it is fact! Even in autobiographies, I'm sure the person writing his story changes his or her facts to their liking. I just like to read on someone I like, and Farrah is no exception.
I'm also hoping a movie on Farrah will be made. If so, I hope they cast this 80s actress named Jennifer Runyon. She always reminded me of Farrah. It is very important to give fair shake to Alana's book . In reading an unedited rough print at her book announcment 2 weeks ago she has touched on many of Farrah's happy moments. Alana will not let down. At one area you will be amazed to read of the year 1977 after Farrah's poster was in demand the very same photographer was paid to help launch Alana's career by doing the same layout of Alana in the pool area at Farrah's home. Alana required and put the session over budget of 3000.00 as her makeup ,styling crew and personal assistants were included in the session. Farrah took time to set in on the session whereas they both had a great time. Alana's Poster sold only 780 copies but landed her in a Arm & Hammer Cat Litter comercial. Alana's oblong face was left in the litter comercial for 3 weeks recouping the cost she was out on the postor. She shares this and many ,many other moments of a friendship that endured .

I don't see these anon's posting about cancer and how it has touched them. I've opened my soul here about what I went through and why Farrah touched my life; I've also posted about her beloved son & have defended Alana as well as said Farrah chose Ryan to be there; I've said it looked like they loved each other & that I've defended both Ryan & Alana on another message board. My opinion hasn't been popular here.

There is some real sickness going on here. The fact that Mr. Lott and Mr. Miller continue to let this site become a total trainwreck speaks VOLUMES about his friendship with Farrah. How disrespectful and childish. This could have been a place for people to leave their sentiments and discuss cancer, but it's a sad, sad joke. Anyone who felt upset over Farrah's team shutting down the website can now fully understand why.

I really never wanted the shirt since last year I got one with a signed photo when FF was doing a Fight the Fight campaign.I never thought that someone would decieve people concerning a serious issue like cancer and it was her official website so I trusted FF had a trustworthy person in charge of her website and so I just wanted to help her in anyway I could. The web-site said it was going to be offered and I really thought it would have been.But I never said that that claim was never said,I said it said it would be offered from her website to those taking care of FF to aid with helping her. Do you understand where Im coming from and what I meant? Your twisting my words.

It says 5 million cash value and assets including property exceeds 50 million dollars..And Ryan and his business managers have been together for 40yrs.Well it looks like he may end with something. Redmond is going to have to sue Francis to get him removed by the courts as executor of Farrah's estate since Francis clearly has a conflict of interest, due to his close ties to O'Neal.

Moty what is going on? Half of these posts seem as though someone/s are just typing any word at random. This is stupid and and really odd I personally think someone is doing this for a personal agenda. And Im not going to accuse by name since Im not 100% sure. And I really do not think it's coming from Texboy. From all the posts I read from him in the past this does not seem like his style.

I have known Greg and Farrah throughout their love saga at UT as I was a wife of one of the UT football players and also taught with Greg's sister, Shanny... at Hutchison, Elementary in South San Antonio. My football hero husband, as well as Shanny's (James Street)somehow became "missing in action" but I do recall the times in the late 60's and then into the early 80's when Greg's constant desire and "love notes of passion" were consumately received and compassionately responded to by Farrah ..as Shanny and I both intimately discussed the situation. To those of you on this site that doubt the love and compassion of Greg and Farrah through those years which ranged between the late 60's to the late 90's and beyond...feel free to contact me for the intimate notes. And Greg...Yes..the book should be written and I'll be pleased to do respond. The love, compassion, intrigue, lust, and friendship needs to be explained and expressed. Alana Stewart an actress? You have to be kidding. That woman has never worked a day in her life, has always lived off men. This interview was disturbing at the least. When were Ryan and Farrah married and divorced? The editing (so to speak) was terrible...at the point where the interviewer says " he's been clean and sober for over 25 years", Greg takes drink from what looks like a beer!! And, shock of all shocks...he's writing a book! So, it's in bad taste,tacky and low to write a book and talk about it two weeks after your friend dies, but OK if you wait a month???

Sales of FF merchandise does need to be revived someway to fund her cancer foundation because that cancer foundation is the mechanism to answer the two questions she posed at the end of Farrah's Story.
ReplyDeleteIt's got to fund the clinical trials for rare cancers like hers and foreign treatments to get them included in the standard treatment protocols in the US.
Also, there are many advances, like Cyberknife, Tomotherapy, genetic profiling and smart drugs, etc. that need clinical trials funded to establish their scientific basis to get them included in standard treatment protocols so that it's all covered by insurance.
It would be nice if someone did an enumerated list of all the treatments FF received to fight her cancer to see which ones are covered by insurance and which ones were not.
Maybe that's a Dr. Piro and Dr. Jacob book.
I think Lott is wrong to attack Alana on 'stealing' FF's cancer diaries.
Alana was the only who was there all the time and can put each passage of the diaries in context in her book.
As for analyzing 'covered by insurance', it would be the best type of plan like Blue Cross/Blue Shield.

In defence of Ryan O'Neal ... He WAS a handsome man, BACK in the day. No one can say otherwise. He's still okay for his age, and I don't think he had any surgery done. DO NOT GET ME WRONG!!! There hasn't been many books written on Farrah, and I do wish she left us her autobiography. Something I was forever waiting for! If Greg does write his book, I'll be amoungst the first to purchase it. Just because these people are writing about Farrah, DOES NOT mean it is fact! Even in autobiographies, I'm sure the person writing his story changes his or her facts to their liking. I just like to read on someone I like, and Farrah is no exception.
I'm also hoping a movie on Farrah will be made. If so, I hope they cast this 80s actress named Jennifer Runyon. She always reminded me of Farrah. ReplyDeleteThere is some real sickness going on here. The fact that Mr. Lott and Mr. Miller continue to let this site become a total trainwreck speaks VOLUMES about his friendship with Farrah. How disrespectful and childish. This could have been a place for people to leave their sentiments and discuss cancer, but it's a sad, sad joke. Anyone who felt upset over Farrah's team shutting down the website can now fully understand why.

I really never wanted the shirt since last year I got one with a signed photo when FF was doing a Fight the Fight campaign.I never thought that someone would decieve people concerning a serious issue like cancer and it was her official website so I trusted FF had a trustworthy person in charge of her website and so I just wanted to help her in anyway I could. The web-site said it was going to be offered and I really thought it would have been.But I never said that that claim was never said,I said it said it would be offered from her website to those taking care of FF to aid with helping her. Do you understand where Im coming from and what I meant? Your twisting my words.

ReplyDeleteI have known Greg and Farrah throughout their love saga at UT as I was a wife of one of the UT football players and also taught with Greg's sister, Shanny... at Hutchison, Elementary in South San Antonio. My football hero husband, as well as Shanny's (James Street)somehow became "missing in action" but I do recall the times in the late 60's and then into the early 80's when Greg's constant desire and "love notes of passion" were consumately received and compassionately responded to by Farrah ..as Shanny and I both intimately discussed the situation. To those of you on this site that doubt the love and compassion of Greg and Farrah through those years which ranged between the late 60's to the late 90's and beyond...feel free to contact me for the intimate notes. And Greg...Yes..the book should be written and I'll be pleased to do respond. The love, compassion, intrigue, lust, and friendship needs to be explained and expressed. It is a story that is long, endearing, gentle, magical,intelligent and profound. It should not lay idle...but live within pages of repeated reading without exception.
